I'm a fourth-year Political Science major with a huge writing addiction since I switched majors. This doesn't mean that I write well or anything, just that I have a tendency to spew nonsense.

Friends will be friend-ed!

I'm currently writing an Avatar: Last Airbender fanfic, so that's mainly what this journal is for. It's going to be rather long, Azula/Ty Lee centric story, so you know. Run for the hills and all that. I spend more time thinking about what I'm going to write than actually writing. Undoubtedly this makes my writing process high inefficient and slow. I do my best to post weekly updates, usually on Tuesdays, but sometimes a little earlier or a little later, which I'll duly notify.

I used to do a crapload of martial arts (wushu/kendo/iaido/kyudo/battodo) in my youth (highschoollolwut), but I traded all of that in at college to hang out with the popular kids, party my ass off, chase pretty girls, and general adventuring in asshattery that all Americans must call their rite of passage. College is almost over now, and since my days of athletic glory, drunken debauchery, and fooling around are long gone, my creative energy has since poured entirely into my writing.

I'm very new to fandom. I don't know how shit works, so please be patient with me if I make a mistake regarding protocol or etiquette or whatever. My girlfriend introduced me to fanfiction fairly recently, so you all have her to blame for this travesty of a writing project.

This is me writing. Notice the gargantuan headphones perpetually glued to my head. It makes me look like I'm being super-cool and listening to vinyl, when it's actually plugged into the sub-par audio quality of iTunes and I'm being pretentious and getting ripped off.
